The Erasmus+ project “Youth Engaged in European Soft Power (YouthSOFTPOWER)” officially began its activities with the first online kick-off and planning meeting, bringing together representatives from all six partner organizations: Consulta Europa Projects & Innovation SL (Spain), Universidad de La Laguna (Spain), Liofyllo Social Cooperative Enterprise (Greece), Ecology Innovation Association (Türkiye), Keuropa Ry (Finland), and West Ukrainian National University (Ukraine).
During the meeting, partners introduced their teams and shared their expertise, reviewed the project's objectives, work packages, and dissemination strategy, and established the implementation schedule for the first phase. The consortium also discussed communication tools, management procedures, and coordination methods to ensure smooth collaboration throughout the project.
This first meeting marks the official launch of YouthSOFTPOWER — a 24-month Erasmus+ KA220-YOU initiative that aims to empower young people by promoting active citizenship, European values, inclusion, and global awareness.
The project focuses on strengthening youth understanding of Official Development Assistance (ODA) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enabling young people to connect local actions with global challenges such as equality, sustainability, and social justice.
The partners expressed their enthusiasm and commitment to working together to create innovative educational tools, digital resources, and youth-led advocacy actions that will enhance awareness of ODA and SDGs, while fostering young people's participation in building a more inclusive and sustainable Europe.
