Consulta Europa (CE), an SME specialising in the management of research, communication, education, and innovation projects, is situated in the Canary Islands, a Spanish outermost region near the Moroccan coast in the Atlantic Ocean. Established in 2009 as a private local development agency and knowledge centre, Consulta Europa’s primary goal is to offer innovative solutions at the European Union (EU) level, addressing both general local issues and specifically those faced by the Canary Islands.
CE has extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects, particularly in the fields of youth engagement, social inclusion, and social entrepreneurship. Through initiatives such as CARE4YOUTH, EUROPE, YOUNG SDG and Sustain Your Life through Social Entrepreneurship, the organisation has developed and implemented non-formal education methodologies, training programmes, and participatory approaches aimed at empowering young people, improving employability, and fostering active citizenship. These projects often involve international partnerships and focus on vulnerable groups, promoting inclusive and accessible learning opportunities.
In parallel, CE actively contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating sustainability, social innovation, and community-driven development into its activities. The organisation promotes SDG awareness and implementation through workshops, events, and collaborative initiatives, encouraging stakeholders, including youth, public authorities, and civil society, to co-create solutions aligned with global sustainability objectives.
CE’s expertise also includes project management, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement, particularly in rural and remote regions. In YOUTHSoftpower, CE acts as the coordinator, leading the consortium and ensuring effective implementation and communication among partners. By working closely with public institutions, universities, and local authorities, CE strengthens regional innovation ecosystems and supports policy development in areas such as circular economy, territorial development, and social sustainability.
